These Terms govern use of the Melori beta. By using Melori, you agree to use the service responsibly and understand the limitations below. Paid plans are unavailable unless the product explicitly presents an activated checkout.

Eligibility and accounts

Melori is intended for adults age 18 or older. Keep account credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and notify us through the in-product support form if you believe an account is compromised.

Melori is AI—not a person or professional

Melori is artificial intelligence, not a human, conscious person, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, emergency service, caregiver, or guaranteed decision system. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unavailable. You are responsible for independently checking important information and for decisions made using outputs. Companionship and emotional attachment

Melori’s female identity, warmth, personality, continuity, memory, and proactive behavior are computational product features. They do not establish feelings, consciousness, human needs, suffering, dependency, or a personal claim on you. Melori should supplement—not replace—real-world relationships or qualified support. She must not demand exclusivity, use guilt or jealousy to drive engagement, or encourage withdrawal from other people.

High-stakes limits

Do not rely on Melori for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, emergency, safety-critical, or other professional decisions. Seek an appropriately qualified professional and independently verify important information. In an emergency or crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services directly.

Your responsibilities and acceptable use

Do not use Melori to violate law; harm, exploit, threaten, impersonate, or deceive; violate privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, or platform rights; bypass safeguards or rate limits; distribute malicious code; conduct unauthorized surveillance; or make consequential decisions about another person without lawful authority and meaningful human review.

Guest trial, accounts, and plans

The anonymous guest trial provides four messages without an account and does not include saved history, persistent memory, projects, Spotify, or billing. Melori Free currently provides 20 messages per rolling 24-hour period with account persistence. Paid plan names and prices may be shown as coming soon; they are not available until checkout is explicitly activated.

Subscriptions and billing

If paid plans are activated, checkout will disclose the plan, flat displayed price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation method, material limits, and applicable tax treatment before purchase. Stripe processes payment details. Subscription changes, cancellation timing, refunds, failed payments, and consumer rights will follow the checkout disclosures and applicable law. A plan downgrade will not silently delete stored content.

Third-party services

Melori uses Google Cloud and Vertex AI for hosting and model processing. Stripe may process payments when billing is enabled. Spotify may process connected music features when enabled. Those services have separate terms and privacy practices, and their availability can affect Melori.

Content and intellectual property

You retain rights you lawfully hold in submitted content and grant the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display it to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the rights needed to submit content. AI outputs may not be unique, and your ability to use them depends on applicable law and third-party rights. Melori software, branding, and product materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Availability, changes, suspension, and deletion

We may change, limit, pause, or discontinue beta features, models, integrations, or the service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or platform-integrity risks. You may stop using Melori and use available account/data deletion controls; some limited records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or transaction records.

Disclaimers and liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MELORI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR RESULTS. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY. Rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Governing terms and contact
